By using Artist.Ascend, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the platform.

2. User Accounts

• You must be at least 13 years old to use Artist.Ascend
• You're responsible for maintaining account security
• One account per person
• You must provide accurate information

3. User-Generated Content

Ownership

You retain all ownership rights to content you upload (tracks, images, text, etc.).

License to Artist.Ascend

By uploading content, you grant Artist.Ascend a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:

• Display your content on the platform (feed, marketplace, profiles)
• Use your content for promotional purposes (showcasing the platform)
• Share with partners (e.g., Coubadja) as part of collaborations and exhibitions
• Provide the service (hosting, streaming, distribution)

You Must Not Upload:

• Content you don't own or have permission to use
• Copyrighted material without authorization
• Content that violates laws or others' rights
• Spam, malware, or harmful content
• Content that is hateful, abusive, or discriminatory

4. Intellectual Property

• Platform: Artist.Ascend owns all platform code, design, and features
• ASCND Token: ASCND is a utility token for platform features
• Your Content: You own your content; we have a license to use it

5. Payments & ASCND

• ASCND is a utility token for platform features (not a security or investment)
• Payments are processed via Stripe
• All sales are final unless required by law
• We reserve the right to refuse or refund transactions

6. Prohibited Uses

You may not:

• Use the platform for illegal activities
• Infringe on others' intellectual property
• Interfere with platform security or functionality
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Spam or send unsolicited messages
• Attempt to hack or exploit the platform

7. Content Moderation

• We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms
• We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations
• We respond to valid DMCA takedown requests

8. Limitation of Liability

Artist.Ascend is provided "as is." We're not liable for:

• Loss of data or content
• Service interruptions
• Damages from using the platform
• Third-party actions (e.g., copyright disputes)

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You can delete your account at any time from Settings.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms. We'll notify you of significant changes. Continued use means you accept the updated terms.
